Appu N. Bhattathiri is a film editor and director working in Malayalam cinema. After completing his degree in Digital Media and Visual Effects in 2011, he began his career as an assistant director on Second Show (starring Dulquer Salmaan) before transitioning into editing.

His editorial filmography spans a wide range of Malayalam films, including Oraalppokkam, Kunjiramayanam, Ozhivudivasathe Kali, Theevandi, Biriyani, Ayisha, Rani: The Real Story, and Madhura Manohara Moham, among others. He has received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor in 2018 (for Veeram and Ottamuri Velicham) and the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Editor (for Rani: The Real Story).

As a director, he made his feature debut with Nizhal (2021), starring Kunchacko Boban and Nayanthara, and directed the segment Nossu — featuring Basil Joseph and Reghunath Paleri — in the anthology Madhuram Jeevamruthabindu. He also co-produced and edited Appuram: The Other Side, which premiered in the International Competition section of the International Film Festival of Kerala.
