Vipin M. G., popularly known as Vipin Mannoor, is an accomplished film editor with over 22 years of experience in the Indian film industry.His expertise spans feature films, documentaries, advertisement films, and corporate videos across South Indian regional cinema.

He began his career in 2005 at Vismayas Max Studio, founded by legendary actor Mohanlal, where he later became the Head of the Editing Department at Aries Vismayas Max Studio. After 15 years of distinguished service, he transitioned into freelance filmmaking and continues to collaborate with leading filmmakers across the South Indian film industry.

Vipin’s first independent feature film, Thalappavu, directed by Madhupal, won the Kerala State Award for Best Film and received official selections at several prestigious international film festivals, including the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). His second independent project, Mizhikal Sakshi, directed by Asok R. Nath, further established his reputation as a skilled and sensitive editor.
Over the course of his career, Vipin has independently edited more than 40 films. His recent works, Hasyam and Niraye Thathakalulla Maram, directed by Jayaraj, were selected for the competition sections at both the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and IFFK.

His excellence in film editing has earned him multiple honors, including:

• Best Feature Film Editor Award – Global India International Film Festival 2024 (Kaalppaadukal)

• Best Feature Film Editor Award – Vindhya International Film Festival 2026 (Lurk)

Beyond cinema, Vipin actively contributes to the film community and media education sector. He has served as the General Secretary of the FEFKA Editors Union for the past eight years and is a member of the FEFKA Steering Committee. He is also a Guest Faculty member at C-DIT (Centre for Development of Imaging Technology) under the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of Kerala.

He co-founded a new post-production studio, Post Focus Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., in 2019 at Thiruvananthapuram as a partnership venture. The studio continues its journey successfully and has extended support to many small-budget and festival-oriented films in the Malayalam film industry. As part of its initiatives, it also produced the festival feature film Freeman for debut film director Paul Wiclif.
